It was definitely scary but it does happen really fast. Just make sure you take a sippy because I think they have to drink so much before they leave the hospital. Oh, and his favorite blankie. I had to rock Victoria for awhile after surgery and I wish I had it. She was really sleepy from the anesthesia.
