Well, I still haven't gone into labor. I know what you're thinking... "Well your due date isn't until the end of June!" Now to some of you that may seem about right but I'm spoiled. With both boys I had them 3-4 weeks early and got used to it. I'm getting to the point where they were born and am getting impatient. I know it will happen in God's timing but I'm getting anxious!
Please pray for my patience... not that God would teach me patience because I learned my lesson when praying that prayer :-) But that God would provide me with patience! I'm getting hot and tired and just want to be done. I can't wait to meet this new little guy!!
I know several of you have asked and no we still don't have a name for him yet. For some reason we just can't get it together and choose the name! I think maybe we're all going to be surprised!!

Any ideas?
We would really like to have this baby on May 29th. It just seems to fit our schedule and works out well with the other birthdays in the family. Seth is June 29th and Josh is July 29th, so see it would just flow. My doctor already said if I went into labor she's on call that day and would not stop me. So we're looking into ideas on how to get labor started. I've been having contractions for the last few weeks but nothing that's the real deal. If anyone has any ideas leave them in the comment section. Can't wait to hear what you've got to say!!

Ain't no probably about it!
Yesterday we were driving along and the boys were listening to the Kindergarten Bible CD we have. A song about Noah's ark came on. It's goes something like this...
"Who built the Ark? Noah, Noah. Who built the Ark? Brother Noah built the Ark."
All of a sudden from the back seat I hear Josh say "There ain't no probably about it... Noah did build the Ark!"
I started cracking up laughing. He thought where the song said "Brother Noah built the ark" that it really said "Probably Noah built the Ark." He doesn't play around with his Bible stories people!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This morning as he was walking into class I heard his teacher ask if he had done the pledge yet. He said no and she said "you're on this morning." So I stuck around to hear him. He got to go to the principals office and say the pledge over the PA system for the whole school to hear. There were two other kids saying it with him but of course I only heard him :-)

Crazy Accident
Earlier today my Mom, sister, the boys and I were all driving down the freeway. All of a sudden my Mom is slamming on the breaks and my sister lets out this awful yell. I wasn't sure if we were going to hit another car or what was happening. It really scared me. Then I saw it... a man in a small SUV had rolled right off the the freeway at lease three times my Mom said. The SUV then started just rocking back and forth in the middle of the freeway until it came to a complete stop. When we got up to where it was you could tell the man had hit his head on the front window and looked to be unconsious at that point.
Unfortunately, we were unable to stop and assist him because of the lane we were in and the fact that we were on the way to a doctors appointment that was pretty serious. Several others jumped out and were headed over to help the man.
My boys were very upset about what they had seen and I could tell they wanted to do something. I asked them if they wanted to each say a prayer and they said yes. Here's how they prayed...
Josh (almost 6) "Dear Jesus, please be with that poor man who just had that horrible accident on the freeway. Bring the paramedics to help him right away. Amen."
Seth (almost 3) "Dear God, please take care of the guy who crashed. Help him with his fishing pole. Make him better. Get the police. Help him get back to the road. Jesus name, Amen."
Now, I'm not sure where the fishing pole part comes in but it was important for him to mention that to God and I didn't question it. It's amazing how they pray and how they say whatever is on their little hearts!! I'm glad God listens and hears all of our prayers... big and small!!

Is it the heat or what??
Several things I've noticed since the heat started rising around here...
~ I'm loosing my patience with my children more often than usual
~ My boys are eating like crazy
~ I can't get enough ice in my cup to satisfy my cravings
~ I can't stop thinking about how good Cherry Lime-aids are
Have you guys been noticing changes along with the summer weather??

Things I want to do meme...
Brooke has tagged me for another meme. It's all about things I want to do before my life is over. They can be big or small. So here goes...
1. White Water Rafting
2. Go on a cruise
3. Visit Hawaii
4. Take the family to Disney World
5. Learn a new language (it would probably be Spanish)
6. See Seth and the new baby accept Christ as their Saviour
7. Do something unexpected and shock everyone!
8. Read more
9. Trust more
10. Not worry so much about what others think of me
11. Loose 30 pounds and keep it off
12. Help hurting children... not sure exactly how yet
13. Own my own successful business
Some of these probably seem really weird to you but I guess that's all I could come up with.
If you haven't done this one yet, consider yourself tagged for it!!

Praying for my Mother-n-law
Today was my Mother-n-law's gamma knife procedure. She came through it without any problems. Now we'll just have to wait and see what God has planned. We're praying that it will help her facial muscles, swallowing, eating and breathing. Thank you all for your continued prayers for our whole family! We know God has a plan for what's happening!!

Happy Mother's Day
I've been trying to decide what to write about my Mom. There were a few things that popped into my head and I think I'll share. First of all, my Mom is a blast to be around! When we were growing up we always had fun and laughter in our home. Don't get me wrong, we had our very serious moments and it wasn't all fun and games. Everyone learned to pitch in and help out.
One thing I can think of is a saying she used to use... "I will trust you until you give me a reason not to. When you break that trust, you will have to work hard to earn it back." It really made me stop and think when I had to make a choice in life. Not only would I have to live with the consequences of my actions but I knew my Mom would be disappointed. Plus, it taught me to trust those around me.
Another thing I remember is talking with her about whether or not God was God and why we believed what we do. I accepted Christ as my Saviour at the age of 5. I grew up in church and around Christians but as kids do at some point, I questioned our Faith. I remember her saying "I believe with my whole heart that God is very real and His son died on the cross to save us. If I get to the end of my life and find out that it was all for nothing, then what have I really lost? I've been a great person, followed rules, treated others well, had Faith in something I couldn't see and just lived life with a wonderful perspective. I have absolutely no doubt about what we believe though!" That was powerful for me and I don't think I've questioned it since!
One other thing I remember is her love and heart for others. No matter what others were dealing with, she was there! She is an excellent listener and gives wonderful advice. However, if you choose not to take her advice she is never offended and continues to pray for the situation.
Now that I watch her with my kids I'm amazed all over again. She's never too busy to get on the floor and play or run around in the grass with them. She takes time to listen to their stories. Reads as many books as they can listen to. Talks with them about Jesus. Helps with the purchases of their clothes, shoes and overall needs without me ever asking. Watches them so we can have date nights once in a while and never expects anything in return!
I'm sure you can tell but I think she's one special Mom and I can't imagine living life without her by my side!! Thank you Mom for all you do for me and all those around you!!

Tagged for a Meme... 7 things about me
Shalee was chasing me and I couldn't get away fast enough. She caught me and tagged me for this meme. Hope you enjoy reading a little more about me...
1. I have never put any kind of coloring in my hair! It totally scares me to think about what could happen to my blonde hair!!
2. I never thought I would have three boys... ever... in... my... life!! I always dreamed of having girls. Don't get me wrong... I love my boys!!
3. Growing up my nicknames were Snuggle-Bug, Curious George, Stace, and Stacer-Dacer.
4. I can touch my tongue to my nose. Maybe someday I'll actually post a pic of this : )-
5. It just hit me the other day that my husband and I have been together for 10 years. Married for 7 of them!
6. I love Mexican food and could probably eat it every day of the week!
7. The other day I decided to try on my pre-pregnancy capri pants. I tried on two pairs and actually got them buttoned. I'm not saying it wasn't tight. Plus, I would never actually wear them like that but I got them on people!! Hopefully that's a good sign that I'll be back in them quickly after the pregnancy is over.
Now I'm supposed to tag some friends to play along... Jennifer, Brooke, Boomama, Jodi and Holy Mama.
My friend Julie already posted 34 wonderful things for her birthday. Happy Birthday Julie!!

Say What??
The other day I heard my almost 3 year old saying something when he got upset...
"Dand it!"
I asked him what he had said and he gladly repeated it "Dand it!"
He was saying "Dang it!"
I then realized that I had let it slip out a few days before that and hoped he hadn't caught it.
Seriously, they are always listening, aren't they??

50 days to go...
Did you see that? Did you see the little pregnancy ticker at the top?? It says only 50 days to go!!
I'm really hoping it doesn't take that long but 50 days doesn't really seem that bad!!
I wanted to update and let everyone know that I saw the endocrinologist yesterday. He said my levels are off but not bad enough that he wants to treat me right now. In fact, treating me at this point could put the baby at more risk than not treating me. He did say he wouldn't be surprised if I end up with Graves disease or Hoshimoto's after giving birth. I also have a goiter on my thyroid that he wants to ultrasound after I've delivered.
I'm not real worried about it because I know it's in God's hands! In fact, I'm praying that maybe the whole thing will amazingly go away after I deliver the baby!!

Updates
Just wanted to take a minute and update everyone on a few things...
~ Jeff's Mom is seeing a doctor today to talk about the feeding tube they will be putting in. Please pray for her in this area. She's very uncomfortable with the idea but I think it's the best thing they can do for her right now.
~ I saw my OB today and we talked about all the contractions I've been having. She checked me and thank goodness I have not started dilating yet! She just wants me to keep an eye on it and take it easy.
~ The endocrinologist's office called and said there was a cancellation and they could get me in tomorrow morning at 10:15. That's an answer to prayer because they originally said it would be June 6th before I could get in!
~ My little sister is back in the hospital with her thyroid condition and graves disease! Her heart rate was up as high as the 140's! They have finally gotten it down around 110 today. They ordered a new kind of treatment that includes potassium and iodine and will last for about 24 hours. She will have to stay in the hospital until she's doing better overall. Please pray for her!!

Stepping out in Faith and Watching God Provide
I'm not sure if I have mentioned it or not but we're in the middle of a building/giving campaign at Church. It's been an awesome experience to see God working in people's lives! Last week we had a Church leadership event. Each of the leaders were asked to prayerfully consider giving big and stepping out in Faith, trusting God will continue to provide. Jeff and I felt called to a certain amount and we went with it. It is going to be a stretch but we know when God calls you to give you better do it! We can never out give Him!!
Earlier this week the air conditioner in my van went out. Let me just tell you that no AC at the beginning of summer in AZ is NOT a good thing! A friend suggested we call the dealership and see what kind of warranty we still have. I hadn't even thought of that because we bought the van used from a private party not the dealership. So Jeff called and they said "Yes, you're still covered up to 60,000 miles!" We took it in on Tuesday and they not only fixed the AC but several other things as well. The total we had to pay at pick up... $00.00. Isn't God good??
Also, this week our freezer stopped producing ice and was making a horrible noise. Again, ice is very important here in AZ. Especially being pregnant... I have to have lots of ice in my drink! We talked about it and decided that we probably didn't still have a warranty on it since we bought it in 2005 but Jeff called to check anyway. We found out that we have a warranty until 2010! They are coming out at the start of next week to fix it for us. The cost will be... $00.00!
I'm so amazed that God is providing. I know I shouldn't be because He's never let us down before. I'm convinced it's because we stepped out in faith and trusted Him!!

Okay People, Let's Name This Baby...
That's right, we still don't know what to name this new little baby boy!
I remember when I was pregnant with our first son, Joshua. We just knew that was his name and we called him that for months before he was born. It was so exciting!
When I was pregnant with Seth we just couldn't decide. His name was going to be Benjamin or Bradley. Then after he was born I couldn't make up my mind. I remember someone from the hospital calling our room and saying "You do realize if you want to take this baby home today we have to know his name." I just laughed at them. Somehow the name Seth came up and it stuck.
This time I just can't figure it out. We've started a pattern that now we can't break though. All of our names either start with 'J' or 'S'. If that's not bad enough we all have a middle name that starts with 'A'. It wasn't until the other day it hit me that all of our middle names end with 'N'. What were we thinking??
So here are the names we're considering and I'd like to take a vote.
First Name...
~ Jacob
~ Joseph (Joey)
~ Jordan
~ Jesse
Middle Name...
~ Aiden
~ Arthur (after my Dad)
~ Andrew
~ Austin
So leave your vote in the comment section. If you have any other ideas feel free to leave them as well. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks!!
