My College Guy

That's right ladies, I'm married to a college man! I'm really excited as Jeff and I begin this new time in our lives. Jeff is finally going back to college. He attended Moody Bible Institute for 3 years in Chicago but had to leave due to the horrible relationship he was in. For the last 9 I've been trying to get him to go back (not Chicago, college). Well a couple weeks ago he called and said "I finally did it, I signed up and I'm going back to school."

So by the end of 2009 he will graduate with his bachelor's degree in business. It's going to be tough for the next year because the boys won't see him on Wednesday nights but it will be worth it in the end. Who knows how many new doors this will open for him!

I love you Jeff and I'm proud of you for taking this next step towards your goal!!

That's great! The year will go by fast. Fred went to school for THREE years at night after we got married. I'm going to call him, "College Boy," when I see him Sunday...

And kudos to you, not only for encouraging him to go back - but for being willing to pick up the slack. Brian went back to school for two years when our children were little - my prayers are with you even more now!!

Blessings!

Ditto, to all! Wes will finish his MBA in 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier, and he is as well. It has honestly been hard, and I have had to bite my tongue, being a single mom for 2 days a week, for 3years, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. The support will be great for him! Just keep in mind what kind of man he will be when he finishes, and what God will do in him, is amazing!

Hello Stacy and Jeff. So glad to hear that Jeff is coming back to MBI. Stacy, you're quite a woman and an example of loving support and encouragement. I look forward to meeting you Jeff when you return. Please stop by the Alumni Office. Many blessings to all of you, as you prepare for what God has planned for the days ahead.

So, wait...is he going online or what? Don't you guys live here in AZ? I don't get it! My little bro has been in college forever and so far hasn't finished but we have high hopes for him. He attends the MBI in Spokane WA. It can be hard to have him gone and the stress of homework added in but the time will fly by and he will be done. As for Baby Mama... well, there were parts of it I thought were funny. Had some unnecessary foul language (not alot, just some... one of my pet peeves is when people swear unnecessarily...like just out of nowhere). I wouldn't say it was an Oscar worthy movie, but it was entertaining especially as we are trying to get PG. Thanks for stopping by!

That's fantastic! Hopefully this year will pass quickly and he'll feel great about the time being well spent. You're such a great wife, Stacey. You know that your plate is about to get a little fuller, but you're going to carry it with style!

Congratulations! That's great!
I look forward to the day that Joel is able to go back to school.
That kind of sounded like I'm trying to get rid of him!! I just know he would love to get his degree in psychology. :)
