We would really like to have this baby on May 29th. It just seems to fit our schedule and works out well with the other birthdays in the family. Seth is June 29th and Josh is July 29th, so see it would just flow. My doctor already said if I went into labor she's on call that day and would not stop me. So we're looking into ideas on how to get labor started. I've been having contractions for the last few weeks but nothing that's the real deal. If anyone has any ideas leave them in the comment section. Can't wait to hear what you've got to say!!

UURRGGGGG I tried everything this last pregnancy.. My first i had a week early so i thought for sure my second would be even earlier, but then 2 weeks before my due date, nothing not even a sign.. I tried everything even castor oil.. Yuck!!!!! I drank red rasberry leaf tea everynight, evening primrose oil..... The only thing that worked the day before a week before my due date, went to the midwife.. said get this baby out.. she stripped my membrains since i was 2 cm dilated... I Wish you much more luck than i had
I went to the Dr. on the "due date" w/Tina and the Dr. said, "I think we mis-judged, you're not having this kid for at least 2 weeks..." Ha!!! Since it was opening day of hunting season ... you can imagine ... yup, living in Oregon we went out w/the 4 wheel drive jeap into the mountains so Mark could "hunt". Needless to say we came back down the mountain that night and I delivered Tina early in the morning...Man am I glad we came back down the mountain before 'labor' started...
Let's just say I really wish I had your e-mail address right now because I don't want to post a comment that might embarrass you (or me)!
Oh yeah, does the baby have a name yet? Maybe that's why he doesn't want to come out yet...
no good ideas for you, but i'm looking forward to your good news when he comes!!
ok, today is the 30th... did baby arrive???!!! :)
Stacey, I have to honestly say that I am delighted to return to hear that he hasn't arrived! I want to meet him fresh! Anyways, here is my idea that has worked for me, I don't honestly know why - when it gets dark and the sun goes down, WALK.. WALK and don't stop until your belly is cringing! With L*, I started to feel uncomfortable, and I started walking about midnight, and the next morning I was still having contractions, and we had her that next morning. Same with J*, I just walked and walked and walked. My doula said that it makes your muscles in your stomach contract, and if you are ready, they will stay. Oh yeah.. and the S**. It was a big turn off, but s_____ has the same ingredients as Cervidil, that helps your cervix soften up. That works as well. Try being content in your state, and relax, maybe that is what it takes. Whoa! I missed ya! See you soon,
Brooke
