First Little Shiner

In my world I have come to realize that boys play hard and that means they're gonna have bumps and bruises along the way! Well, Jake got his first little shiner a couple of weeks ago. I thought I would share a couple of pictures with all of you...

Can you see it there below his left eye?

I guess maybe it's a little hard to tell in the pictures...
As you can see he also loves sticking his tongue out every time I take his picture. It's something he's just started in the last couple of weeks. He also does it when he's acting shy or a bit nervous about his surroundings. So silly!

Thanks for stopping by, Stacey! I'm finally getting around to updating my links and included your blog as one.

It was so cool getting to hear your family's story first-hand last week. Thanks for sharing!

I'm sorry, I didn't look for a shiner. I was completely distracted by those adorably blue eyes...

What a cutie! My Dr. always says that if my two year old doesn't have some bruises and cuts on her that I am sheltering her too much:).

I so love how he sticks his tongue out like that. He is precious. He looks just like his BIG strong brother JOSH!!

Hi Josh...

It's only the beginning of those shiners though ;O)
