The Big Night

I can't believe it's already here!! We took Josh to his new school tonight for the kindergarten open house and registration. We met four different teachers and they were all very nice but had very different personalities. I've picked out the two I like best and think I'm going to submit my request later this week. The stuff they are doing in the first year of school these days is incredible... book reports, journals, math and so much more. It's so amazing to me : )

I just keep thinking "my baby is starting school!" I feel like it was just yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time. So many people said it would go by faster than I could imagine and they were right. Time slips away so fast!!

WoW! That makes me get teary eyed to think about that!

Why do they have to grow up so fast??

But, can't you just imagine him in Kindergarten??? :)

It's so hard the first time. Especially if, like me, you haven't put them in preschool. It was much harder on me though, than it was for her.

It's lots of fun though, so enjoy it! :)

I am so glad that he is going to go to school. I am sad for you though. It is going to be fine though. He asked me last night if I could pick him up from school? I told him sure. I cant wait to see him. He is so excited and ready.

My oldest daughter is graduating in a couple of weeks so I know what you mean! Where did the time go?

My son started this year and it was a fantastic day. It was hard later when I thought about my "baby" going to school. But with all the good stories he will bring home, it will be fun.

Also, think about the alone time you will have with your younger son. He never got that with you the way your first son did.
