Hare today, gone tomorrow

A few weeks ago Josh decided that we need a new pet at our house. We already have a dog and four fish. I'm not sure where the idea came from but he's sure of it. At first he was talking about a hampster or a bunny. I think hampsters are a little too much like mice and I'm not sure what I would do if it got out. So I persuaded him that we could look into getting a bunny. He's been saving his money and has about $10 now. Today I'm supposed to call around and find out about how much we're going to need to get a bunny.

Do any of you know what kind we should get? I don't want one that's going to get huge, we want something that will stay pretty small. Any ideas?

I'm clueless on the bunny front end but make sure you post a pic of the new family member! :)

P.S. After interviewing about four other R. I finally chatted with your mom and it's looks like she's the one!

Our local humane society gets rabbits occasionally, so they may be a little cheaper that route, and you rescue one at the same time! Our place has a website and they place pictures on there, I'm sure you could find one in your area, too.
We've gotten a dog and a love bird through them.
I thought I'd also add that I grew up in AZ! I'm in Minnesota now.
God bless,
